Silken Chocolate Mousse


A plant-based chocolate mousse, light and delicately smooth.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups dairy-free dark chocolate chips
  • 4 cups silken or soft tofu, drained
  • 3/4 cup coconut cream, canned
  • 1/2 cup + 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 3/4 tsp salt

Optional Garnishes:

  • ½ cup raspberries or sliced strawberries
  • ¼ cup dairy-free mini chocolate chips or chocolate shavings
  • Mint leaves

Preparation
  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  • Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor. Blend for about 2 minutes, or until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Divide the mousse evenly into 12 small jars or serving bowls. Chill for at least 1 hour to firm up. Before serving, garnish with fresh berries, and chocolate
